Aerospace Education

The mission of Aerospace Education is to educate, inspire, and instill an appreciation for and an understanding of aerospace as it relates to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in today's and tomorrow's world.  This includes Orientation Flights (Glider and Powered) and Model Rocketry programs. 

The squadron's Aerospace Education Officer is Captain Todd Curabba.  He holds a successful aviation background; he is currently the

Chief Pilot for the Tampa Police Aviation Unit.

Orientation Flights 
Designed to introduce our cadets to general aviation through hands-on flights in single engine aircraft and gliders. The program is limited to those cadets under 18 years of age
