The mission of the Seminole Composite Squadron Cadet Program is focused in the following areas:

  • Emergency services by training crews to perform in many essential search and rescue, disaster relief, and homeland security missions.
  • Leadership through our award-wining Cadet program whose  mission is to produce young men and women of purpose, character, and a commitment
  • Aerospace-based educational program which focuses in developing and hone personal values, honor, and love of country. In that regard, the Pledge of Allegiance, respect to the Colors, and cultural respect and appreciation for those of different race, gender, and religion are not only expected, but mandatory.

The military format at Seminole Composite Squadron is not an end in itself; it is simply the means to an end. The end being an educated young man or woman who has experienced the challenges of the military model of education and discipline and who is completely prepared for the rigors of life, college, military, or the corporate world.  We produce a cadet who is poised, polite, and confident.   A cadet who will stand out among his\her peers.

Besides the curriculum subjects of the CAP Cadet Program, there are many activities for our members to get involved with including powered and glider flight orientation flights, flight training opportunities, Color and Honor Guard, Drill Team, Communications, Search and Rescue and many other activities, we offer something for everyone that chooses to become involved.

In addition to cadets, we are looking for motivated adults who are looking  to make a difference in their community, state, and nation.  No experience is required and the training and experience you will gain by being a Senior Member of the Civil Air Patrol is immeasurable.

We encourage the parents of Cadets to join as sponsor members, and become active in their son or daughter's progress.
